• Students will be able to read, perform, and compose musical works in simple duple meter and simple triple meter on a variety of instruments and voices.

Whole, Half, Quarter, Eighth and Sixteenth

• Students will be able to read, write, perform, and compose with whole notes, half notes, quarter notes, eighth notes, sixteenth notes, off-beat eighth notes, quarter rests, half rests, whole rests, eighth rests, and tied notes.

• Students will be able to assess their own/peers’/ensembles’ performance of a musical work using a rubric
